Use your bamboo spoon to scoop a small amount — a little goes a long way. Warm it between your palms and massage onto warm, slightly damp skin right after your shower. Start with your legs, work up to your arms and torso.
Hint: Pat dry lightly before applying — damp skin seals in moisture better.

The Egyptian is built on Ugandan Nilotica shea — a rarer, silkier form of shea harvested from the Nile River Valley. Nilotica is naturally higher in oleic acid than West African shea, which is what gives this butter its effortless, sink-in texture and deep, lasting hydration without any heaviness.
Alongside it: Mafura butter, pressed from the seeds of the Cape Mahogany tree across Southern Africa. Research published in the South African Journal of Botany has highlighted Mafura's high oleic and palmitic acid content — both recognized skin-permeation enhancers — which means moisture doesn't just sit on the surface. It goes where your skin needs it.
Mongongo seed oil, wild-harvested from Zambia and Zimbabwe, brings a high concentration of eleostearic acid — a fatty acid shown in published research to help protect skin from environmental oxidative stress.
And watermelon seed oil, pressed from African watermelon seeds, is lightweight and rich in linoleic acid. It gives the formula its airy, non-greasy finish — and contributes to that natural, healthy glow.

I love the creaminess of the Egyptian body butter and the hyper clean yet gentle feel of the wash. Just a little dab of each goes a long way so the product lasts. I love it so much that I hand-carried 3 jars of the butter to Europe (because it is completely natural, it is susceptible to hot temperatures), while I packed the wash in my checked luggage to give as gifts. The product is worth every penny!

The Body Butter jar was only 50% (1/2) full of the product. Then, the contents developed "air-bubbles" and began to separate. I first contacted the owner, to no avail. I went by the address listed to return it; however, it wasn't a store or office, but only a mailing address.
Thank you for your feedback. To clarify the record — this purchase was made on March 26th, and your first contact regarding this concern was received on April 14th, nearly three weeks later.
I responded the very next day, on April 15th, and followed up again after receiving your reply on April 18th. Our correspondence is documented and available if needed.
As part of our standard process for any product concern, I requested a photo to properly assess and resolve the issue. You advised that a photo was no longer possible, as a portion of the product had already been used. Without documentation, I am unable to investigate or remedy a concern.
Our jars are filled to our established standard just below the lid to allow for proper sealing — this is consistent industry practice. Concerns about product separation or air bubbles were not raised at any point during our email exchange, and I was not given the opportunity to address them directly.
Our city, state, and zip code are listed on our product label as required by federal labeling law — it is not a retail storefront or place of return. Any decision to seek out a specific address beyond what is printed on the label was not directed or implied by us.

For many years I was using Cocoa and shea butter on my face after shaving. It always felt greasy on my face and on my clothes. My niece gave me the Egyptian body butter as a Christmas present and it is amazing. What I like about the product is it doesn't leave that greasy film on my face. You only meet a little bit of the body butter and it goes the whole day. It also has a light fragrance of Violet that I do love. I no longer have Cocoa and shea butter around the collar of my shirts.
