How To Use

Use your bamboo spoon to scoop a small amount — a little goes a long way. Warm it between your palms and massage onto warm, slightly damp skin right after your shower. Start with your legs, work up to your arms and torso.

Hint: Pat dry lightly before applying — damp skin seals in moisture better.

Why It Works

The Egyptian is built on Ugandan Nilotica shea — a rarer, silkier form of shea harvested from the Nile River Valley. Nilotica is naturally higher in oleic acid than West African shea, which is what gives this butter its effortless, sink-in texture and deep, lasting hydration without any heaviness.

Alongside it: Mafura butter, pressed from the seeds of the Cape Mahogany tree across Southern Africa. Research published in the South African Journal of Botany has highlighted Mafura's high oleic and palmitic acid content — both recognized skin-permeation enhancers — which means moisture doesn't just sit on the surface. It goes where your skin needs it.

Mongongo seed oil, wild-harvested from Zambia and Zimbabwe, brings a high concentration of eleostearic acid — a fatty acid shown in published research to help protect skin from environmental oxidative stress.

And watermelon seed oil, pressed from African watermelon seeds, is lightweight and rich in linoleic acid. It gives the formula its airy, non-greasy finish — and contributes to that natural, healthy glow.
