Shea Oil (Butyrospermum Parkii) brings all the nourishing, soothing richness shea is known for — in a lighter, fast-absorbing oil form. Rich in vitamins A and E and skin-loving fatty acids, it softens and deeply moisturizes, and is well-suited for sensitive and eczema-prone skin that experiences redness and irritation.
Squalane is lightweight, non-comedogenic, and so close to your skin’s own natural oils that it absorbs beautifully and locks in moisture without any heaviness. Soothing and gentle, it supports your skin barrier and is well-tolerated by even the most reactive skin.
Jojoba Seed Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis) closely resembles your skin’s natural sebum, making it uniquely compatible with dry, sensitive skin. It absorbs quickly, helps balance the skin, and brings its own soothing properties to help keep skin comfortable.

I picked up Barrier Oil to combat some serious dryness, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. First off, it’s completely all-natural, which is a huge plus. It’s incredibly lightweight and doesn’t leave that heavy, greasy residue that a lot of other products do.A little bit goes a long way with this oil, so the bottle really lasts. I also love that it's fragrance-free. I’m very sensitive to heavy, perfumy smells, so finding something that works without triggering my allergies is a major win. This product has truly supported the health, luminosity, hydration, and nourishment of my skin. I’ve been using the Skin Barrier Oil on my entire body after every shower, so yes—I went through my first bottle pretty quickly! To be fair, I was also being extremely generous with my portions because I genuinely enjoy taking time to massage my body while applying my oils.
What I discovered is that a little truly goes a long way. It deeply nourishes the skin without leaving it feeling greasy. In fact, it absorbs beautifully and quickly, leaving my skin feeling incredibly soft, supple, and hydrated—with no oily residue or transfer.
This is easily a 10 out of 10. An exceptional product that has earned a permanent place in my daily routine.
I really enjoyed the texture of the Barrier Oil. It feels luxurious and is made with quality ingredients. However, when used alone or on dry skin, I noticed my skin seemed to become drier than expected, especially in areas that are already prone to dryness. I found that I needed to layer it with another moisturizer such as the Egyptian Body Butter or apply it to damp skin to maintain hydration. Overall, it's a beautiful product, but it may not provide enough lasting moisture for everyone when used by itself.
