We pause butter shipping every summer to keep the good stuff intact. The good news? The Barrier Oil is here — and the butters will be back in October.
Finally, a body butter that actually gets what eczema-prone skin needs.
Your skin has its own language — tight, itchy, angry, dry. You've tried everything. Most of it burns, smells like a pharmacy, or sits heavy on your skin like a layer of plastic wrap. You deserve better than that. Skin that's finally settled. Calm. Yours. That's the feeling the Eczema Butter is here to give you — one rich, cushiony application after your shower, and your skin finally gets what it's been asking for. A deeply nourishing blend of East African Nilotica shea and three botanicals from across the African continent — fragrance-free, essential oil-free, and gentle enough for your most sensitive days. It melts in softly, so you can just get on with your life.

How To Use
How To Use
After your shower or bath, pat yourself lightly dry — leave a little moisture on your skin. Warm a small amount of Eczema Butter between your palms and press it into damp skin. The creamy texture absorbs beautifully. For areas that need extra care — hands, elbows, legs — use a little more and take your time. Use twice daily, or as often as your skin needs it.
For best results, apply while skin is still warm and damp from the shower.
Why It Works
Why It Works
Every ingredient in this butter was chosen for one reason: to give compromised, eczema-prone skin what it's missing.
Nilotica Shea Butter (East Africa) — Not all shea is the same. Nilotica is the East African variety, and it's softer, richer, and higher in oleic acid than the West African shea you'll find in most products. That higher oleic acid content means it absorbs more easily, penetrates deeply, and helps your skin hold onto moisture — the key to keeping eczema-prone skin comfortable throughout the day. It's also known for its soothing properties, helping to comfort irritated skin and support your moisture barrier over time.
Mafura Seed Butter (Trichilia emetica — Southern Africa) — Sourced from the seeds of the Natal Mahogany tree, Mafura has been used across Southern Africa for generations to soothe and protect skin. Rich in oleic and palmitic acids, it's a deeply emollient butter traditionally used to soothe and comfort skin, with antioxidant properties that complement Nilotica beautifully — layering on extra comfort for skin that needs it.
Mongongo Seed Oil (Schinziophyton rautanenii — Kalahari Desert) — Cold-pressed from the nuts of a tree that grows wild in the deep sands of the Kalahari, Mongongo has been used by indigenous Southern African communities for thousands of years. It's rich in linoleic acid, Vitamin E, and polyunsaturated fatty acids — nutrients that help support your skin's natural moisture barrier, protect against environmental stressors, and keep skin hydrated longer than lighter oils.
Watermelon Seed Oil (Citrullus lanatus — Kalahari Desert) — Lightweight, fast-absorbing, and non-comedogenic, Kalahari watermelon seed oil balances the richness of the butters. It's high in linoleic and oleic acids, which help maintain the skin's lipid layer — the part of your barrier that keeps moisture in and irritants out.
Together, these four botanicals — all from the African continent — work as a team: seal in moisture, comfort sensitive skin, and support your skin's natural ability to stay hydrated and balanced.
